Around the world with Omid; Travel to 75 countries with Iranian passport

Iran

  • Name
    Tohid Shabanloo
  • This time I went to Omid Gholam Alipour's house to tell me about his travels. I had decided to meet with Omid a long time ago to use his experiences for my future travels, and finally Omid invited me to his house.

Omid has an interesting personality, maybe I understood this from the first moment I entered his house! A dream home for any travelers, you will find less travelers who are so interested in decorating their travel memorabilia; I just remember the [Omidvar Brothers] doing it well.

    Matches from 75 countries

When you talk to any tourist, you will never get bored because they have so many interesting memories to say that it is as if you are living those memories in that moment. If you are a quiet person like me, after a few trips you will realize how many memories you have. That you want to tell them in the form of videos, photos or even writings.

Omid's recollections of the countries he visited were very interesting and some were scary, like what happened to him in Haiti, as well as the flight he had the day before the bombing in Turkey. He told about the experiences of the visas he had obtained and how difficult it is to get a visa with an Iranian passport. Even if your passport is full of visas from different countries, you can still have your visa application rejected.

In his opinion, migration is not easy! Especially for those who have attachments in their country or city, such as family and friends, it seems much easier to hope to immigrate at a young age because you have fewer attachments and at a younger age a higher risk will allow you to try any difficult path. I heard this answer when I asked Omid if you could leave all your memories and your friends in Iran and emigrate!?

The first thing a real tourist should learn is to try again and again after the visa is denied, and he knew this well. Of course, this only applies to Iranian tourists, because with the power of an Iranian passport, it is many times harder to get a visa, but Always possible! For example, the process of getting a Schengen visa is so stressful that some people refuse to get it.

    Snowballs of different countries

Omid was satisfied with living in Iran, of course, because it can provide more opportunities and travel, which may be more difficult with living in other countries. After traveling to 75 countries, Omid is still trying to increase the list of available countries. At the moment, as I write this article, Omid has traveled to the west and southwest of Africa.

Hopefully, one day, after exploring the planet, he will travel to another planet and send us experience from there! 😂
