German Embassy in Tehran Resumes Schengen Visa Applications From January 7, 2026

The German Embassy in Tehran announced that from January 7, 2026, it has officially resumed accepting Schengen visa applications, after months of restrictions and long waiting lines. This news is very important for Iranians planning to travel to Schengen countries, especially Germany.
The visa service company (TLScontact), cooperating with the embassy, has prepared a new registration list for applicants. Those with existing accounts will automatically receive instructions for registration. New users can create an account and submit their applications.
